Your sound.
On your device.
How the recorder and this website handle information.
Recordings stay in your browser
The recorder stores captured audio, recording and track names, source-tab titles and editing preferences in the extension’s browser storage on your device. Audio processing and encoding happen locally. Recordings are not uploaded as part of that workflow and the local library is not a cloud backup.
Exported tracks and Save original create separate files through your browser. Those files remain where you save them. Removing the extension, clearing browser data or losing the profile can remove local recordings. Export and check important files before clearing anything.
You choose the source
Recording starts after you invoke the extension on a tab and choose Record this tab. The recorder captures that tab’s audio output. It does not capture your microphone or record video. Chrome permissions allow selected-tab capture and continued recording when the popup closes.
Licence verification
Licence verification is separate from audio processing. It uses the purchase and activation details needed to check or restore access. Do not send card details or licence secrets in a support message.
Website requests
This website serves pages and images. Search and guide filters run in your browser; their text is not sent to a search service. The pages use no analytics scripts, tracking cookies, remote fonts, account form or audio upload.
Ordinary hosting requests and logs can include IP address, request time, page address, browser information, referring address and response status. We do not promise anonymous access or a specific log-deletion period. External documentation links lead to services with their own policies.
Support enquiries
If you email support@browseraudio.com, the message includes your email address and whatever text or attachments you choose to send. Use only the information needed to explain the question. Avoid sharing private recordings, payment information or other people’s personal details unnecessarily.
